Zascomine (2,4D AMINE SALT)

Zascomine is a selective weed killer for the control of broad leaved grasslands. It is suitable for application by aircraft, tractor and knapsack sprayers and should be diluted with water before use.

Directions For Use:

Cereals (Wheat, Barley, Rye)

Use 200mls/20ltr of water to obtain an adequate spray coverage of weeds.

Pre-emergence

Use 100/300Ltr of water and spray 35days after planting.

Post – planting

Spray in 200/20Ltr water when plants are 15-30cm tall and have 4-6 leaves. Apply as directed, spray when crop is over 30cm tall but not later

Sugarcane

Apply in about 200/400mls /20ltrs of water as a pre or post emer- gence spray to planted or ratoon cane.

Directed sprays should be used when the cane is beyond the 5-leaf stage

 

Tree crops (Coffee, Tea, Citrus etc)

Apply in 200/400L water/HA as a directed spray. Use low pressure and avoid drifting into foliage

CAUTION:

  • Do not spray when rain is imminent or during a period of drought. Zascomine should be sprayed when conditions for growth are good and the soil is Avoid spray drifting onto neighbouring crops. Livestock should be kept away from sprayed pastures for atleast 21days.
  • Wear protective Avoid inhaling, swallowing and contract with skin and eye. Do not apply upwind and stay out of the spray mist. Wash hands and exposed skin before eating, drinking or smoking.
  • If swallowed and the patient has not vomited , undertake gastrice lavage with medicinal charcoal or teaspoon administration of 1% potassium ferrocyaanide solution, treat symptomatically.

Zascosate

Active Ingredient: Isopropylamine salt – 48% Phosphonomethyl – 52%

Application Method:

  •  Perennial weeds to be treated should be 4-8leaves and when actively growing.
  •   Annual weeds to be treated at any stage before flowering.
  • Spray directly on the weed.

Caution

  • Avoid any spraying or drifting on leaves or any other desirable crops or plants.
  • Do not cultivate before weeds turn
  • Do not apply if rain and irrigation is expected within
  • Do not mix , store or apply in galvanized pr unlined steel tanks or containers.
